Sport in Wales is generally thought of as being just about rugby. Whilst rugby is possibly the most popular spectator and participant sport, people in Wales take part in as big a variety of activities as in any other country. One sport unique to Wales is bog snorkelling, the centre of which is in Llanwrtyd Wells, Mid Wales, where the World Championships are held every year. |
